At the EMU Faculty of Communications and Media Studies, a workshop taking on the subject of Costume design for the different centuries, was presented by Elnaz Pakpour on 19th December 2018 at 11am.
Within her presentation, Pakpour explained the aim behind the use of costumes in the Cinema and Television industries and elaborated on the meanings conveyed by certain colours and the subject of contrast. Pakpour stated, “In art, the most important thing is history. If you do not know the history of an art, this means you do not know anything about that art”. Pakpour also put forward that peoples clothing style are a symbol for each individual.
