The APC Plan as the Next Ruling Party

The Governor of Yobe state and chairman, All Progressive Congress (APCand caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee, (CECPC0 Mai Mala Buni has stated the ruling party will be working in power for the next 30/32 years.

On 24, March Buni said while inaugurating the 65-member committee chaired by the state Governor of Jigawa, Alhaji Abubakar Badaru at the party National Secretariat in Abuja on Tuesday maintained the vision was to provide a wheel that will drive the party to rule beyond 6th, 7th, and even 8th term in office.

According to Buni, the party need to be in power to consolidate on the delivery the dividends of democracy.

He said, the party under the leadership had achieved a lot, and the constitution of the strategy and contact committee is to consolidate the achievements we are making in building a strong party with a solid structure that would accomplish APC to stand the rest of time.

The Vision is to provide a wheel that will drive the party to go beyond the 6th, 7th, and 8th terms of office to effectively implement the party manifesto, improve the lives of Nigerians and to remain Nigeria’s leading political party.

The committee therefore the key to our process of transition towards successful congress and national convention and to establish a very solid, reputable, honorable for the party in the future. The high-powered committee is to be chaired by the state governor of jigawa, Abubakar Badaru.

Badaru response, “I pledge the committee would take the necessary steps to achieve its objectives.”

He explained because of the success recorded by the Buni led caretaker committee, the country had registered and revalidated the membership about 36 million across the country.

The National Publicity Secretary of the opposition of people Democratic Party (PDP), Kola Ologbodiyan said, Nigeria would destroy the ambition of the ruling party.

Kola said, Nigerians cannot wait for 2023 to chase this thieving gang out of power. No Nigerian, except the very few who are benefiting from the ongoing institutional corruption, and we pray for this regime to stay longer than 2023.
